Is functional medicine safe?Yes! Functional medicine, especially as practiced by Back to Eden Functional Medicine, does not seek to replace conventional medicine. Our goal is to provide the best medical care possible by utilizing the latest research and collaborating with your primary care physician.

Do you accept insurance?Unfortunately, no. We will work with you to identify tests that can be ordered by your primary care provider and attempt to save you as much money as possible, whenever possible.

Do you accept patients from other states?At this time, we are only taking patients in the state of California.

Do you accept FSA/HSA?Yes. Functional medicine treatment is covered by FSA and HSA

Do you accept Medicare patients?Unfortunately, if you are under Medicare or are eligible for Medicare, we cannot work with you as a patient.

Will you be my primary care doctor?No. One requirement of working with Back to Eden Functional Medicine is that you commit to maintaining a relationship with your primary care physician (PCP). Our goal is not to replace your PCP but to work together with them with the goal of improving your health.

What conditions or health issues can be addressed with functional medicine?Functional medicine can address a wide range of health issues, including chronic conditions, autoimmune disorders, digestive problems, hormonal imbalances, and more.
